Adetona verbally commits to play for Troy

GAINESVILLE – Gainesville star receiver Tyler Adetona has committed to play next season for Troy University. According to Rivals.com, Adetona had also been recruited by Indiana, Marshall, and Middle Tennessee St.
Senior Adetona (6’1”/194) has 65 catches for 1,059 yards and 11 touchdowns through nine games for the Red Elephants. As a junior, he caught 53 passes for 788 yards and eight touchdowns.
Adetona will play the final regular-season game of his career this Friday, as Gainesville travels to West Hall.
Troy, meanwhile, visits Northeast Georgia this weekend, playing the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday at 1 o’clock.
